India finished their AFC Asian Cup 2023 campaign with a 1-0 loss against Syria in its third and final Group B match at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, Qatar on Tuesday.
Omar Khrbin scored the only goal of the match in 76′.
Earlier, Blue Tigers lost 2-0 to Australia and 3-0 to Uzbekistan.
India thus finished at the bottom of Group B with zero points.
In the last edition, in 2019, India had defeated Thailand 4-1 to register a win.
