India U-17 Women’s National Team to travel to Italy and Norway and participate in two tournaments as part of preparation for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
India will participate in the 6th Torneo Female Football Tournament in Italy and Open Nordic Tournament in Norway.
In Torneo Female Football Tournament, India will open their campaign against Italy on June 22. The other two nations are Chile and Mexico.
The winner of India v Italy match will play against the loser of Chile v Mexico match, while the winner of Chile v Mexico match will face the loser of first match on June 24. On June 26 the loser of First and Second match will play against each other while the winner of first and second match will play against each other.
On the other hand, in the Open Nordic Tournament WU16 in Norway, eight teams will compete against each other- Netherlands, India, Norway, Iceland, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland and Sweden. India will face The Netherlands on July 1, 2022.
Indian Women U23 team will also play a Three Nations Tournament in this month. The other two nations are Sweden and USA.
