Indian Squad announced for SAFF Women’s Championship 2024 to be played at the Dasarath Stadium, Kathmandu, Nepal from October 17 to 30, 2024.
Head coach of Senior Women’s National Team Santosh Kashyap named the 23-member squad.
The Blue Tigresses are clubbed with Pakistan and Bangladesh in Group A. India will start their campaign against Pakistan on October 17 followed by Bangladesh on October 23.
India are the most successful nation winning the tournament for five consecutive editions – 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2019. In the last edition in 2022, India lost to host Nepal 1-0 in semi-final.
Bangladesh won the last edition in 2022. Nepal finished Runners-up five times in 2010, 2012, 2014, 2019, 2022. Bangladesh finished Runners-up in 2016 edition.
