Indian Women’s Football Team climbed seven places to 63rd in latest FIFA ranking released on Thursday. The Blue Tigresses climbed seven places after securing a spot in AFC Women’s Asian Cup.
This is their best ranking in last two years, as in August 21, 2023, India’s rank was 61.
India defeated higher-ranked Thailand 2-1 in the final game of the qualifiers to book a place in AFC Women’s Asian Cup for the first time on merit.
