ISL 2020-21 ATK Mohun Bagan defeated Jamshedpur FC 1-0 to reach the top of table

ATK Mohun Bagan defeated Jamshedpur GC by a solitary goal to reach at the top of league table in the 94th match of Indian Super League (ISL) 2020-21 at Fatorda Stadium.

The only goal of the match was scored by Roy Krishna in the 85’. This is his 13th goal of the season. The opening half remained equable with none of the two sides showing the creativity to produce the opportunities that could bring in the break. Mohun Bagan tried to spread the game on the flanks but disciplined defense of Jamshedpur FC denied the Mariners to score. ATK Mohun Bagan made more efforts in the second half but their efforts were fading in Jamshedpur box. However Roy Krishna produced a brilliant finish in the dying moments to ensure ATK Mohun Bagan bags important three points from the game.

ATK Mohun Bagan now have 36 points while Jamshedpur FC remained on sixth place with 21 points.

The DHL Winning Pass of the Match Award won by David Williams while Roy Krishna bagged the Hero of the Match Award.

In the next match Mumbai City FC will play against Bengaluru FC.

Meanwhile SC East Bengal will face ATK Mohun Bagan on 19th February. The Second Kolkata Derby of the season will be played at Fatorda Stadium.
