Mumbai City FC defeated ATK Mohun Bagan 2-0 in the last league stage match of Indian Super League (ISL) 2020-21 at GMC Stadium, Bambolim.

Mumbai City FC won the match comfortably with two first half goals from Mourtada Fall (7’) and Bartholomew Ogbeche (39’). The Islanders scored most goals from set-pieces and scored both the goals of the match in the similar fashion. On the other hand, in this season, the Mariners had scored 23 of its 28 goals in the second half, hence, Roy Krishna, David Williams, and Manvir Singh had goal attempts but the discipline defense of Mumbai City FC secures a clean sheet.

The win gave Mumbai City FC the ISL League Winner’s Shield and claimed the AFC Champions League spot.

The DHL Winning Pass of the Match Award was won by Ahmed Jahouh. Mourtada Fall bagged the Hero of the Match Award.
