Italy drew with Switzerland 0-0 in World Cup Qualification thus set a new record of longest international unbeaten run to 36 matches suppressing the joint record of Brazil & Spain of 35 matches.  

Italy last lost against Portugal in UEFA Nations League on September 10 2018. Italy has Won 29 matches and drew 7 matches, scoring 88 goals and conceding 12.

Earlier Italy had an unbeaten streak of 30 matches in between 1935-1939.
