Jamshedpur FC and Bengaluru FC played a goalless draw in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 at the Athletic Stadium in Bambolim on Monday.
Sunil Chhetri was named on the bench for the second game in a row. Jamshedpur were dealt a major blow even before the match started. Lithuanian striker Nerijus Valskis pulled up with an injury during the pre-match warm up with Jordan Murray replacing him up top.
In the first half the game was majorly played in the midfield as the defense of both the teams seemed compact and there were hardly any clear-cut chances created. However, the second half was a lot entertaining. Both teams were quite attacking and Jamshedpur FC were able to create more chances but it was Bengaluru FC who had the better ones.
Jamshedpur FC moved to the second spot on the table with 12 points. Bengaluru FC now have two draws in a row and their first clean sheet but stayed at second-last with just 6 points. Bengaluru FC have now drawn three and lost four matches this season, with only one win.

In the next match, NorthEast United FC will take on ATK Mohun Bagan. SC East Bengal next play against Hyderabad FC on December 23, Thursday at Athletic Stadium, Bambolim.
