Jamshedpur FC and Hyderabad FC played a 1-1 draw in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 at the Athletic Stadium in Bambolim on Thursday.
Greg Stewart (41′) scored for the Red Miners while Bartholomew Ogbeche (56′) equalised in the second half for Hyderabad FC.
The first half could almost be called as the Greg Stewart-show, however despite keeping the Hyderabad defenders guessing every time near the box, Jamshedpur FC failed to protect their lead.
Hyderabad FC came much stronger in the second half. They showed more intensity and dominated the game in the midfield and as a result equalized in 56’ through Bartholomew Ogbeche. There wasn’t much pace in the game after the equalizer, hence, a draw appears to be a reasonable result.
Greg Stewart won Hero of the Match Award.
In the next match, SC East Bengal will face Chennaiyin FC at Tilak Maidan Stadium.
