Jamshedpur FC defeated all-Indian side SC East Bengal 1-0 in ISL 2021-22

Jamshedpur FC defeated SC East Bengal with a late goal to move to the top of the table in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 match at the Athletic Stadium in Bambolim on Tuesday.

Ishan Pandita (88’) was the difference-maker after scoring another late goal with a towering header to secure the three points for Jamshedpur.

SC East Bengal played an all-Indian side against Jamshedpur FC at the GMC Athletic Stadium on Tuesday, in what was the first time for an ISL side to do so in the league’s history.

Jamshedpur FC will next face Hyderabad FC at the Athletic Stadium on Monday. On the other hand, SC East Bengal meets Derrick Pereira’s FC Goa at the same venue on January 19, Wednesday.

Greg Stewart won the Hero of the Match Award.

In the next Match, Odisha FC will take on Kerala Blasters FC.
