Jamshedpur FC defeated FC Goa 1-0 in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 at the GMC Athletic Stadium on Friday
Daniel Chima Chukwu (49’) scored the only goal of the match for the Men of Steel after signing for them in the January transfer window.
The win took Jamshedpur FC to second place in the league table and kept FC Goa at ninth place with four games without a win.
FC Goa will next face Odisha FC at the Athletic Stadium on Tuesday while Jamshedpur FC will play Bengaluru FC on Saturday at the same venue.
TP Rehenesh won the Hero of the Match Award.
In the next match on Saturday, ATK Mohun Bagan will face SC East Bengal in the Kolkata derby.
