Jamshedpur FC defeated NorthEast United FC to clinch first win in Hero ISL 2022-23

Jamshedpur FC secured its first victory of the season after beating NorthEast United 1-0 in the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2022-23 at JRD Tata Sports Complex, Jamshedpur on Sunday.

Skipper Peter Hartley scored the only goal in 30′ as NorthEast United recorded its worst-ever start to an ISL season with its fourth consecutive loss.

The win lifts the Red Miners into sixth place, while the Highlanders remain at the bottom of the table.

Skipper Peter Hartley won the Hero of the Match Award.

Hero ISL 2022-23 will resume on Thursday, 3rd November as FC Goa will host Jamshedpur FC.
