Jamshedpur FC played a 1-1 draw with Kerala Blasters FC in Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 at the Tilak Maidan Stadium on Sunday.
Greg Stewart scored a stunning goal from a free kick in the 14’ while Sahal Abdul Samad equalized in 27’. Both teams looked for the winning goal but had to be content with a point in the end. There were chances for both teams in the dying minutes but could not convert.
The result means Kerala Blasters are now third in the table with 13 points from eight matches while Jamshedpur are second, having the same number of points from eight games but ahead on goal scored.
Greg Stewart won Hero of the Match Award.
Next Northeast United FC take on table-toppers Mumbai City FC in Match 42. Meanwhile SC East Bengal will next play against Bengaluru FC on January 04.
