East Bengal FC defeated Jamshedpur FC 2-0 in the first semifinal of the Kalinga Super Cup at the Kalinga Stadium on Wednesday.

After Durand Cup, the Red & Gold Brigade now made to the final of Kalinga Super Cup.

This was also the fourth straight win for East Bengal FC.

Hijazi Maher in 19′ and Javier Siverio in 47′ scored the goal for East Bengal FC.

East Bengal FC had the chance to make it 3-0 but skipper Cleiton saw his penalty attempt coming off the cross-bar in 82′.

East Bengal FC will meet the winner of the second semifinal between Odisha FC and Mumbai City FC.
