Kerala Blasters FC defeated Chennaiyin FC 2-1 in Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2022-23 match at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kochi on Tuesday.

The win strengthens Kerala Blasters FC’s position in third place with 31 points while Chennaiyin FC remained at eighth place with 18 points.

Abdenasser El Khayati gave Chennaiyin FC the lead in 2′ of the match. However, Kerala Blasters FC came back strongly wih goals from Adrian Luna in 38′ and Rahul Kannoly Praveen in 64′. This is Kerala Blasters FC’s seventh win at home.

Adrian Luna won the Hero of the Match Award.

Next, East Bengal FC will be taking on NorthEast United FC on February 08.
