Kerala Blasters FC defeated Chennaiyin FC 3-0 in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 at the Tilak Maidan Stadium on Wednesday.
Jorge Pereyra Diaz (9’) gave KBFC the lead by scoring his third goal of the season, Sahal Abdul Samad (38’) doubled the score before half-time. Adrian Luna (79’) then scored his first goal of the season to ensure the three points.
Kerala Blasters FC have now scored 3 back-to-back goals in two matches and also kept clean sheets in both games. They now climbed to third place in the points table while Chennaiyin FC dropped to sixth.
Adrian Luna won the Hero of the Match Award.
In the next match, Hyderabad FC will meet SC East Bengal at Tilak Maidan Stadium.
