Kerala Blasters FC defeated Chennaiyin FC 3-0 in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 at the Tilak Maidan Stadium on Saturday.

Jorge Pereyra Diaz scored a brace in the space of three minutes (52’, 55’) before Adrian Luna (90’) scored with a world-class goal from a free-kick.

The result means KBFC are back in the top four with 30 points from 18 matches. CFC, already out of the semis race, remained in the eighth spot with 20 points from 19 matches.

 Sanjeev Stalin won the Hero of the Match Award.

In the next match, FC Goa will take on Mumbai City FC. Meanwhile, SC East Bengal will face NorthEast United FC at the Tilak Maidan Stadium on Monday.
