Kerala Blasters FC defeated Chennaiyin FC by 3-1 in Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 season at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai on Thursday.
This was the first time that the Kerala Blasters FC registered an away win against Chennaiyin FC in ISL.
For Kerala Blasters FC, Jesus Jimenez in 3’, Korou Singh in 45+3’ and Kwame Peprah in 56’ scored the gaols, while for Chennaiyin FC Vincy Barretto pulled back one in 90+1’.
Adrian Luna of Kerala Blasters FC was adjudged Key Performer of the Match.
Kerala Blasters FC is at eighth place with 24 points while Chennaiyin FC is at tenth place with 18 points from 19 games.
Next, Chennaiyin FC will face East Bengal FC on February 8, while Kerala Blasters FC will face Mohun Bagan SG on February 15.
