Kerala Blasters FC registered their first win of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 season as they beat Odisha FC 2-1 at the Tilak Maidan Stadium in Vasco on Sunday. Meanwhile Odisha FC lost their first game of the season.
Alvaro Vazquez (62’) and Prasanth Karuthadathkuni (85’) scored for Kerala Blasters. For Odisha, Nikhil Raj pulled one back in second-half stoppage time.
Kerala Blasters moved to sixth place in the ISL points table with five points from four games. Odisha FC, meanwhile, remained third having six points from three outings.
Adrian Luna won the Hero of the Match Award.
Tomorrow Jamshedpur FC will face ATK Mohun Bagan. Meanwhile, SC East Bengal will next play against FC Goa on December 7, Tuesday at Tilak Maidan Stadium.
