Kerala Blasters FC take upper hand over Jamshedpur FC in first SF of ISL 2021-22

Kerala Blasters FC handed League Shield winners Jamshedpur FC a 1-0 defeat in the first leg of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 semi-final 1 at the PJN Stadium in Fatorda on Friday.

Sahal Abdul Samad scored the only goal of the match in the 38’ to end Jamshedpur FC’s seven-match winning streak.

Before the goal of KBFC, JFC had three chance. The first two of those opportunities went to Daniel Chima Chukwu in 10′ and 20′ while Greg Stewart missed the third one.       

Ruivah Hormipam won the Hero of the Match Award.

The second leg will be played on March 15.

Next, Hyderabad FC will take on ATK Mohun Bagan in Semi-Final 2 – 1st Leg on 12th March
