Korea Republic moved to the verge of the quarter-finals of the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2022 on Monday as they defeated Myanmar 2-0 in Group C at Pune’s Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex.
For Korea, Lee Geum-min scored in 50′ and Ji So-yun added the second in 84′ to ensure the full points.
Ji So-yun won the Most Valuable Player award.
Korea Republic will next face Japan on Thursday while Myanmar will play against Vietnam.
