Lebanon defeated Bhutan 4-1 in SAFF Championship 2023 at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday. This is their second win on a trot and are at top of Group B with Six points, Bangladesh and Maldives both are on three points.
For Lebanon, Mohamad Sadek in 11′, Ali Al Haj in 23′, Khalil Bader in 35′ and Mahdi Zein in 43′ scored the goals.
For Bhutan, Chencho Gyeltshen in 79′ pulled one back.
Lebanon will next take on Maldives in their final group-stage game on June 28, where a draw will be enough to secure them top position.
