Mohun Bagan SG defeated East Bengal FC on penalties in Chief Minister’s Cup charity match at the KD Singh Babu Stadium in Lucknow on Monday.
In regulation time the match finished with 1-1 score. Suhail Ahmad Bhat in 18′ gavbe Mohun Bagan Sg the lead while Muhammed Ashique K equalized for East Bengal FC in 71′
In the penalty shoot-out, Mohun Bagan SG converted three of their kicks via Serto Worneilen Kom, Adil Abdulla and Ravi Bahadur Rana.
For East Bengal FC, Ashique and Chiku Mandi scored, while Tanmay Das, Vishnu PV and Muhammed Musharaf failed to convert.
