Mumbai City FC defeated Chennaiyin FC 1-0 in Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 at the Mumbai Football Arena (MFA), Mumbai on Saturday.
Nikolaos Karelis scored the only goal of the match in 8’. He was also adjudged Key Performer of the Match.
With this win Mumbai City FC moved to fourth place with 20 points from 12 matches, while Chennaiyin FC remained on ninth place with 15 points.
Next, Mumbai City FC play against NorthEast United FC on December 30, whereas Chennaiyin FC will face Bengaluru FC on December 28.
