Mumbai City FC defeated Chennaiyin FC 6-2 in Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2022-23 Match 29 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Chennai.

For Chennaiyin FC, Sliskovic 19′ and El Khayati 32′ scored to give the home team early lead.  While for Mumbai City FC, Pereyra Diaz 33′, Stewart 45′ (P), Vinit 49′, Vignesh 60′, Noguera 65′ and Bipin 90′ scored the goals.

With the win, Mumbai City FC moved to the second position in the points table with 12 points from six matches. Chennaiyin FC stayed at sixth place with seven points from five matches.

Greg Stewart won the Hero of the Match Award.

Next, Kerala Blasters FC will take on FC Goa on November 13 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kochi.
