Mumbai City FC defeated FC Goa 2-1 in Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 season at Fatorda Stadium on Saturday. This was the first win for The Islanders in ISL 2024-25 season.

For Mumbai City FC, Nikos Karelis in 21′ and Yoell van Nieff in 40′ scored the goals, while for the Gaurs Armando Sadiku pulled back one in 55′ through penalty.

The win took Mumbai City FC to 7th place in league table with 5 points from four games while FC Goa dropped to 8th place with 5 points from five matches.

Next, Mumbai City FC will host Odisha FC on October 27 while FC Goa will travel to Chennai to face Chennaiyin FC on October 24.
