Mumbai City FC defeated Kerala Blasters FC 4-0 in Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2022-23 match at Mumbai Football Arena on Sunday. With this victory, Mumbai City FC created a new ISL record of eight wins in a row, going past Jamshedpur FC’s seven-match winning streak last year.

For Mumbai City FC, Pereyra Diaz scored a brace in 4’ & 22’, while Greg Stewart in 10’ and Bipin Singh in 16’ scored the other goals.

With this win Mumbai City FC climbed to top of league table with 33 points from 13 matches. Kerala Blasters FC remained at 3rd place with 25 points.

Jorge Diaz won the Hero of the Match Award.

Next on Thursday, January 12, Hyderabad FC will take on Chennaiyin FC.
