Lallianzuala Chhangte in 78′ and ThaerKrouma in 82′ scored for Mumbai City FC, while Gaurav Bora scored an OG in 72′ to help the host to take a three goals lead.
Mumbai City FC moved to fifth place with 27 points from 17 matches while Mohammedan SC remained at bottom with 11 points.
Lallianzuala Chhangte was adjudged Key Performed of the match.
Next, Mumbai City FC will host East Bengal FC on January 31 while Mohammedan SC will host Mohun Bagan SG on February 01 at Kolkata.
