East Bengal Head Coach, Stephen Constantine arrived in the city on Thursday morning. The former national coach entered the red yellow tent at 2.30 pm. Practice started at exactly three o’clock.

15 football players showed up for the first day of practice. Among them were Subhashis Roychowdhury, Shouvik Chakraborty, Ankit Mukherjee, Naurem Mahesh Singh, VP Suherra. There was also Bino George, the coach in charge of Kolkata League and Durand. The first day of practice naturally emphasizes physical training. Then a little movement with the ball.

Many clubs have already started preparations, from that point of view, East Bengal has fallen behind a bit. Don’t have much time. There is not much time to play. That was caught in the voice of our head coach. The coach, wants to make the team within a limited time.

“No opponent will want to play against East Bengal. I’m not here to lose. As I have achieved in the national team, I am expecting the same success here” Constantine said.

Moreover, he said, “The rest of the ISL teams started training a few weeks ago. We didn’t have much choice. Not saying I will win ISL in first year. But we will play such football that the rest opponents will not want to play against us.’
