It seems there is no end to the East Bengal vs Shree Cement saga and as a result it is the football team that may suffer the most.
Shree Cement on Friday clearly mentioned that if the club official fail to sign the agreement within 13th July then they will not prepare the football team for this season and accordingly they will inform the ISL committee. Moreover CFL will start from August, hence there will be hardly any time left for preparation.
When all the teams are starting the pre-season camp, players from SC East Bengal are leaving the Red & Gold camp and joining other teams.
It is very logical for Shree Cement to take this harsh decision, if the team fails to perform, then the responsibility will be entirely on them, however the real fact is that the unprofessional approach of the club officials is the reason for which SC East Bengal football team and the fans are suffering.
