NorthEast United FC and Punjab FC played out a 1-1 draw in Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 at Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Guwahati on Friday.
Alaaeddine Ajaraie gave NorthEast United FC the lead in 24’ while Khaiminthang Lhungdim equalized for Punjab FC in 82’.
Alaaeddine Ajaraie was adjudged Key Performer of the Match.
NorthEast United FC now have 23 points from 15 matches and are at fifth place in points table, while Punjab FC is on 19 points from 14 games and are at eighth place in league table.
Next, NorthEast United FC will play against FC Goa on January 14, whereas Punjab FC will face Mumbai City FC on January 16.
