NorthEast United FC defeated East Bengal FC 3-2 in Indian Super League (ISL) 2023-24 at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati. With this result, East Bengal FC’s six-game unbeaten streak in the ISL come to an end.

For NorthEast United FC, Tomi Juric scored a brace in 4’ & 66’, while Nestor Albiach in 15’ scored the other goal. For East Bengal FC, Nandhakumar Sekar in 53’ and F Brown Forbes in 82’ scored the two goals.

Tomi Juric was adjudged Key Performer of the Match.

NorthEast United FC moved to sixth place with 16 points from 14 matches while East Bengal FC remained at 9th place with 12 points from 12 matches.

NorthEast United FC will next play against Mohun Bagan Super Giant on February 17, whereas East Bengal FC will host Mumbai City FC in February 13.
