NorthEast United FC defeated Hyderabad FC 5-2 at the G.M.C. Balayogi Athletic Stadium in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 on Monday.
Edmilson Correia scored a brace in 5’ and in 12’ to give Hyderabad FC the lead, but NorthEast United FC bounced back to score five goals. Guillermo Fernández scored a brace in 18’ and in 61’, Alaaeddine Ajaraie scored in 73’ while Lenny Rodrigues scored OG in 54’ and Alex Saji scored another OG in 78’.
Guillermo Fernández of NorthEast United FC was adjudged Key Performer of the Match.
NorthEast United FC is at sixth place with 18 points while Hyderabad FC remained at 12th place.
Next, Hyderabad FC will play against East Bengal FC on December 28 while NorthEast United FC will play Mumbai City FC on December 30.
