NorthEast United FC defeated Jamshedpur FC 2-1 in a dramatic way in Indian Super League ISL 2023-24 match at Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Guwahati.

Daniel Chima Chukwu gave The Red Miners lead in 19′, while two stoppage time goals from Michel Zabaco 90+4’, Ibson Melo 90+9’ gave Highlanders three crucial points.

Michel Zabaco of NEUFC was adjudged Key Performer of the Match.

With this win NEUFC moved to third place with 8 points from 5 matches while Jamshedpur FC remained at sixth place with 5 points.

Jamshedpur FC will now play host to Mohun Bagan Super Giant at the JRD Tata Sports Complex on November 1, whereas N will travel to Bhubaneswar to take on Odisha FC on November 3.
