NorthEast United FC defeated Jamshedpur FC 5-0 in Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 match at Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati on Saturday.
This is NorthEast United FC’s biggest win in ISL history and the first time they have scored five goals in a game in the competition as well.
For NorthEast United FC, Alaeddine Ajaraie (5’ 90’) and Parthib Gogoi (44’ 55’) scored a brace while Macarton Nickson (82’) scored one goal.
Alaaeddine Ajaraie was adjudged Key Performer of the Match.
With this win NorthEast United FC moves to fifth place in league table with 8 points from 6 matches while despite the heavy defeat Jamshedpur FC remained at second place with 12 points from 6 matches.
Next, NorthEast United FC will play against Odisha FC on November 3, whereas Jamshedpur FC will face Chennaiyin FC on November 4.
