NorthEast United FC defeated Mumbai City FC by 3-0 at the Mumbai Football Arena in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 on Monday.
Alaaeddine Ajaraie scored a brace (1’ 83’), while Macarton Nickson (86’) scored the other goal for the Highlanders.
Alaaeddine Ajaraie of NorthEast United FC was adjudged Key Performer of the Match.
With this win, NorthEast United FC moved to fourth place with 21 points while Mumbai City FC is at seventh place with 20 points.
Next, Mumbai City FC will face East Bengal FC on January 6 while NorthEast United FC will play Mohammedan SC on January 3.
