NorthEast United FC played an exciting 3-3 draw with Mumbai City FC in Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 clash at the PJN Stadium in Fatorda on Monday.
Deshorn Brown scored a hat-trick 29’, 56’ and 80’ for NEUFC while Igor Angulo 33’ & 52’ and Bipin Singh 40’ scored for MCFC.
The result means Mumbai sit at the top with 16 points from eight games while NorthEast United remain ninth having eight points from nine games.
The match was played with full of excitement, mistakes and a hat-trick. The goalkeepers were at the forefront as both Michu and Nawaz made mistakes leading to goals but made important saves to keep it all level in the end.
Deshorn Brown won the Hero of the Match Award.
In the next match, Hyderabad FC take on Odisha FC. Meanwhile SC East Bengal will next play against Bengaluru FC on January 04.
