Odisha FC came from behind to defeat 10-man East Bengal FC 2-1 in Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 at Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan Stadium in Kolkata on Thursday.

Lalchungnunga gave East Bengal FC the lead in 53’ while Jerry Mawihmingthanga in 55’ equalized for Odisha FC and Hugo Boumous scored the winning goal in 81’.

Hugo Boumous was adjudged Key Performer of the Match.

East Bengal FC was down to 10 men in 43′ when Jeakson Singh was given marching order.

With this win Odisha FC moved to third place with 19 points from 12 matches while East Bengal FC remained at eleventh place with 7 points from 10 matches.

East Bengal FC will play next against Punjab FC on December 17, whereas Odisha FC will face Mohammedan SC on December 27.
