Indian national team midfielder Priyangka Devi Naorem joins East Bengal Team on a two-year deal.
She had started her senior career playing for Indian Arrows in Indian Women’s League and she scored 9 goals in 11 matches. She was awarded with the emerging player of the season. Later she played for Kerala Blasters and Sethu FC.
She was named the Most Valuable Player of the 2018 SAFF U-15 Women’s Championship as India emerged champions. Later, Priyangka was India’s top scorer at the 2021 SAFF U-19 Women’s Championship with four goals. She made her debut for Blue Tigresses on 5th April 2022 and scored the only goal of the match against Egypt at Prince Mohammed Stadium, Zarqa, Jordan.
