Punjab FC defeated Bengaluru FC 3-1 in Indian Super League (ISL) 2023-24 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on Saturday.

Sunil Chhetri gave Bengaluru FC the lead in 15’. Wimar Jordan Gil in 23’, Luka Majcen in 71’ and Madih Talal in 77’ scored for Punjab FC to register their second victory.

Madih Talal was adjudged Key Performer of the Match.

Both the teams now have 11 points from 13 matches, however, with this win, Punjab FC jumped to ninth while Bengaluru FC dropped to tenth place.

Punjab FC will next play Kerala Blasters FC on February 12, whereas Bengaluru FC will host Chennaiyin FC on February 7.
