Punjab FC defeated Chennaiyin FC 1-0 to register their first win in Indian Super League (ISL) 2023-24 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi.
Madih Talal in 56’ scored the all-important goal for Punjab FC to make an end of 10 match long wait for their first ever victory in ISL.
Madih Talal was also adjudged Key Performer of the Match.
Punjab FC will next host Odisha FC on December 26, whereas Chennaiyin FC will face Mumbai City FC on December 28.
