Punjab FC defeated Chennaiyin FC 3-2 in Indian Super League (ISL) match at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on Thursday.
For Punjab FC, Luka Majcen scored a brace (46′, 48′) while, Asmir Suljic (70′) scored the other goal. Meanwhile, Jordan Gil (30′, 90+9′) scored a brace for Chennaiyin FC.
The win took Punjab FC to third place with 12 points from 5 matches and Chennaiyin FC dropped to sixth place with 8 points from 5 matches.
Next, Punjab FC will travel to Goa to face FC Goa on November 06 while Chennaiyin FC will host Mumbai City FC on November 09.
