Punjab FC stunned Kerala Blasters FC 3-1 in Indian Super League (ISL) 2023-24 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi on Monday.
Wilmar Jordan Gil scored a brace in 42’ and 61’ while Luka Majcen scored the other in 88’ for Punjab FC. Milos Drincic in 39’ scored the only goal for the hosts.
Wilmar Jordan Gil was adjudged Key Performer of the Match.
Punjab FC jumped to 9th place with 14 points from 14 matches while Kerala Blasters FC remained on third place with 26 points from 14 matches.
Next, Kerala Blasters FC will face Jamshedpur FC on February 15 while Punjab FC will face Chennaiyin FC on February 16.
