Real Madrid won the FIFA Club World Cup for a record extending fifth time after beating Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal 5-3 in the final on Saturday, with a brace each from Federico Valverde (18′, 58′) and Vinicius Jr (13′, 69′) and a goal by Karim Benzema (54′).
It was mostly a one-sided contest at the Prince Moulay Abdallah stadium, though Saudi Arabian side Al Hila pulled back three goals, with Luciano Vietto scoring a brace in 63′ and 79′. Moussa Marega scored the other goal in 26′.
Earlier, Real Madrid won FIFA Club World Cup in 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018.
