Robert Lewandowski, Poland’s national soccer team captain and Bayern Munich player, has won the player of the year award at the Globe Soccer Awards.
Prolific Bayern Munich striker earlier was named The Best FIFA Men’s Player and UEFA Men’s Player of the Year for 2020. He has a sensational year with the German club by scoring 55 goals in 47 matches.
Lewandowski said that it was a dream comes true for him and remembered his late father while receiving the award. He also thanked his fans, club and family.
Meanwhile one of the best goalkeepers of all time, Iker Casillas and Barcelona superstar Gerard Pique won Player Career Awards.
Bayern Munich, winners of the Champions League, Bundesliga, and DFB-Pokal treble last season, were declared the Club of the Year.Hansi Flick, Bayern Munich Coach was named Coach of the Year.
