Roma won a first major European title in more than 60 years after a 1-0 win over Feyenoord in the inaugural UEFA Europa Conference League final in Albania, completing a unique European trophy haul for José Mourinho.
Roma last won Inter-Cities Fairs Cup in 1960-61 at European competition and won Coppa Italia in 2007-08 at Domestic competition. Hence this is also the first trophy for the Italian Club after 14 years.
Nicolò Zaniolo scored the only goal of the match in 32’.
Mourinho celebrated an historic achievement having become the second manager to win five major European titles after Giovanni Trapattoni. The win also makes him the only coach in European history to have won the Champions League, Europa League, UEFA Super Cup and, now, the Conference League.
