As part of pre-season preparations, SC East Bengal took on Vasco SC in a friendly match at the Don Bosco Ground today. This was the first pre-season friendly for SC East Bengal.
The Red & Gold brigade won the match by 3-1 margin. In half time, SC East Bengal was leading by 1-0.
For SC East Bengal Semboi Haokip in 38’, Subha Ghosh in 54’ and Siddhant Shirodkar in 87’ scored the goals. Vasco pulled one back in 84’.
SC East Bengal will next play against former I-League champions Salgaocar FC at the same venue tomorrow.
