SC East Bengal launched 2021-22 season kit in a grand way on social media with a video. The jersey is made in the style of the first jersey of 1921 with a retro look. Former player Shyam Thama and Manoranjan Bhattacharya signed the new jersey and wrote congratulatory messages.
According to SC East Bengal advisor Srenik Sett, the Home kit has been a big part of club’s heritage, the jersey reflect the tradition of the club. The Away kit with Red & Gold trim on the collar, sleeves and bottom of the shirt symbolises the fighting spirit for which East Bengal is famous for. The Third Kit is an evolution of last season’s away kit, about paying tribute to Bengal’s love for fish.
