SC East Bengal will take on I-League champions Gokulam Kerala FC in their third friendly match at the Don Bosco Ground on Wednesday.
The Red & Gold Brigade had played two pre-season friendlies with Vasco SC & Salgaocar FC which they won by 3-1 & 2-0 respectively.
They are scheduled to play another pre-season friendly with Mumbai City FC on November 14.
As per earlier communication SC East Bengal might play two Pre-Season friendly matches against FC Goa on 4th & 5th November.
Sources informed that Coach Manuel Manolo Diaz wants to play 6 to 7 pre-season friendlies before starting the Indian Super League 2021-22 Campaign against Jamshedpur FC on 21st November.
Gokulam Kerala FC will participate in AFC Cup and is coached by Italian Vincenzo Alberto Annese. All the four foreigners of Gokulam Kerala FC – Sharif Mukhammad, Rahim Osumanu, Bouba Aminou and Chisom Elvis Chikatara might play the friendly on Wednesday.
SC East Bengal’s defender Tomislav Mrcela informed that it’s very good that the team is playing against the best team of I-League.
