India is a place that is known for its festivals and celebrations. It is purported because individuals of different religions live here, and they all praise their celebrations all over the year. Where there are Bengalis, there is Durga Puja. As a part of the devotion to the divine Mother, SC East Bengal’s goalkeeper Arindam Bhattacharyya & his family is celebrating the 100 years of Durga Puja this year.
Family paid homage to the Goddess and thus started the tradition of Durga Puja which is now on the Centenary year.
Like any other Bengali, Red & Gold brigades’ goalkeeper too eagerly waited for the Durga Puja days. However, Arindam is away from home at Goa with the team. The practice is in full swing for the upcoming Indian Super League. The pain of not being able to stay at home in the midst of a busy schedule on such a historical moment is obviously hurting him. But as a professional player he is concentrating on the practice as he is determined to bring back the joy and happiness for Red & Gold fans.
